Jen Prill
Torn between the joys of running a gallery and the joys of being an artist, Jen strives to do both well. Until recently, her main passion has been clay because it is such a versatile canvas--it begins pliable and ready for anything and ends up strong and unyielding. But since the pandemic, dependable results from clays and glazes have become harder to realize. So now, Jen's enthusiasm is for cold wax and oil paintings which have a similar quality to clay in that you are creating a painting that is all about texture, color, and form. And when things get frustrating with painting, Jen turns to glass fusing. It's a little dangerous and always illuminating.
